Overview & Objective
The OSHA 30-Hour Construction course provides a proven path to receiving an OSHA completion card from the Department of Labor (DOL)/Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) Outreach Training Program. Our classroom training course is designed for construction workers, managers, employers receive training in job site hazards, protection, and safety culture needed to avoid workplace accidents, injuries, and deaths.
The OSHA 30-Hour Construction course prepares workers, managers, and employers to recognize, avoid, abate, and prevent health and safety hazards commonly encountered on construction worksites. Course topics include:
- Specific steps and requirements needed to complete the OSHA 30-Hour Outreach Training Program
- Introduction to OSHA
- Workers’ rights and employer responsibilities
- Health and safety program requirements
- Compliant reporting and record-keeping
- How to file a complaint
- The role of a Competent Person
- Focus Four Hazards (fall hazards, electrocution hazards, caught-in or –between hazards, struck-by hazards)
- Materials handling safety, including activities causing MSD and RMD injuries and illnesses
- Cranes and rigging
- Motor vehicle, mechanized equipment, and marine hazards
- Motorized mobile platforms
- Excavations
- Work zone traffic control
- Forklift hazards
- Identifying major construction health hazards
- Hand and power tool hazards

The OSHA 30-Hour Construction course is ideal for construction workers and any individual with construction site safety responsibilities, including:

Features & Benefits
Upon completion of the OSHA 30-Hour Construction course, participants will be trained to recognize, avoid, abate, and prevent most construction job site hazards. Students will understand worker’s rights and employer responsibilities. All successful course participants will receive:
- A certificate of course completion
- A plastic wallet DOL/OSHA 30-Hour completion card
Every individual will be given two chances to pass the course’s final test. Students must complete the course evaluation at the end of the course to receive a certificate of completion. Every participant must complete the 30-hour course within six months of the start date.
After successful course completion Cards will be mailed directly to the student. OSHA 30-Hour cards arrive within six to eight weeks after completion of the course.
